2010 Minnesota Twins

The 50th season for the Twins franchise began in their new digs, the 39,000 plus Target Field. The team is also redesigned their home uniforms to more match their new home.

In the offseason, the team failed to resign Orlando Cabrera who signed on with the Cincinnati Reds. The team then traded centerfielder Carlos Gomez to the Brewers for SS J.J. Hardy. GM Bill Smith also added DH Jim Thone to the roster, signing him to a one-year deal.

The Twins have worked out their 2010 rotation. They are RHP Scott Baker, RHP Nick Blackburn, RHP Carl Pavano, RHP Kevin Slowey and LHP Francisco Liriano with RHP Jon Rauch closing.
